First seminar of 2026. An incredible day on Vancouver Island at the Honbu Dojo training with Sensei Mortley.

We worked deeply through the kata Nipaipo and Nijushiho, and in kobudo trained Tawada no Sai—a powerful reminder of the depth, discipline, and tradition within our practice.

Grateful for the opportunity to train, learn, and reconnect with such a dedicated group of karateka. Days like this reinforce why we walk this path.
