The amount of walking before you even get to the track will have your Apple Watch buzzing.
If you are going to an race, especially or a warm climate I would consider the following
#1) Wear comfortable Sneakers!!!
Hydrate at the water stations, take breaks, ear plugs, hat, sunglasses, get a map & download the app, clear bags allowed.
