Training Tips

1. Following a Program Will Get You to Your Goal Faster—a detailed approach to goal setting will always get you results faster than guess work. There are a lot of online programs out there that are unfortunately misleading. Working out is great for your health but that program may not give you the physical results you want. There are good trainers out there! I promise!

2. Form and tempo/ time under tension will impact results. A lot of what I do is tweak form and detail time under tension. Most of my clients see results pretty fast with me just making those little adjustments. This means if you are not training with a coach/trainer—you are leaving a lot on the table and hindering your progress by avoiding form and technique.

3. Protein-protein-protein—I’m sure you’ve heard this lots. It’s important for training and longevity. You can start small and slowly build up to your daily recommended amounts. It’s important though so get on it!

4. Training frequency matters if you want a specific result. If you are just getting moving and enjoying having exercise in your life—that’s wonderful! I encourage you to keep going! If you have a goal of building a b***y, or losing body fat, training frequency and the intensity matters.

5. Training can be complex! I get it—and there’s always new info coming out. Trainers and coaches should be helping consolidate alllll that info into a plan for you to reach your goals. Often I see trainers trying to wow the client with something cool or flat out to give the hardest workout they can think of. Training is more than fatigue —and I encourage you to find great trainers out there who will build you up! 💪
