It’s been a few days since we kicked off the new year. You’ve had time to think about how to make 2022 the best year yet, and you’ve had a chance to tell us about it!
Here’s what people said:
Consistency = Habit
• Creating a routine is essential to be able to meet your goals. Motivation to be consistent will lead you to make a chore into a habit (and an enjoyable habit)
Do movement that makes me feel GOOD
• This is crucial. Any movement or class that doesn’t feel good for YOUR body, shouldn’t be the class you are doing! We have so many classes to choose from and what makes you feel good, can change day to day. Some days good movement can’t be slow, other days good movement can be some major cardio! Stop and check in with your body and what it needs.
Increased intensity without triggering chronic pain
•This is another huge one. All of our bodies are different and so you need to find what YOUR body needs. Setting goals for your body, but keeping it safe and listening in for when it needs to stop.
To just keep on keeping on with fitness
• Even when the times get tough, even when things shut down- stick to your goals and routine. Revel is there right on your phone or laptop for when you are traveling, stuck at home or just wanting to have your dog alongside you when doing those last few push-ups.
