Vancouver Tip-Off 🏆

Another strong weekend with the VK U13 Red group, taking home the U14 Silver Division. The biggest takeaway for us was understanding our group dynamics. Because of that, we were able to give everyone a fair opportunity to compete while still staying focused on winning. A solid group that listens, competes, and plays for each other.

Back to work this week.

Lakeside Legends Champs 🏆

First tournament with VK U13 Red in Penticton. This weekend gave us a chance to break the ice, build connections, and start understanding who we are as a team. We learned a lot about our strengths and areas we need to improve. Excited to be working with this group as we continue to build and grow together.

Next tournament: Vancouver Tip Off at SFU, April 18–19.

What Actually Drove Our Performance…

This season, our success wasn’t measured solely by wins or points. We tracked and held ourselves accountable to impact metrics.

We didn’t chase stats that look good. We committed to stats that win games.These are effort, discipline, and connectivity metrics. When we met our standards in these areas, the scoreboard usually took care of itself.

SBMC Spring Break Camp ✅

Another successful camp with a great group of players from Grades 4–10.

The energy was high and we created a competitive environment for players to learn, improve, and enjoy the game.

Appreciate everyone who showed up ready to work.
