Thank you to everyone who came out this past Wednesday night to meet Fernanda and hear her story firsthand. The flowers, the conversation, the run through the neighbourhood, it was exactly the kind of evening we love putting together.

A big thank you to Salomon for making it all possible, and to Fernanda for sharing her world with us.

Meet Fernanda Navarro, floral designer, founder of STUDIO VIZCAINO 361 , and someone who has no problem stopping her Garmin mid-tempo run to get a closer look at a flower.

Running Vancouver opened up a whole city to draw inspiration from. The gardens, the grasses, the way colour shifts block to block, it all finds its way into her arrangements. She went from being focused on swimming at a high level, staring at a black line at the bottom of a pool for hours a day, to choosing her own routes, her own pace, and her own reasons to be out there.

Now she’s training for her first marathon in honour of her aunt, carrying her relentless spirit and bright smile across every kilometre.

Competitive swimmer turned runner, floral designer, and founder of Studio Vizcaino 361, Fernanda started running in 2024 and never looked back. Now training for her first marathon, she’s approaching things a little differently, ensuring all run workouts pause for a flower she’s never seen before or a garden that speaks to her.

Studio Vizcaino 361 is named after her great-grandmother’s street in Mexico, a woman who taught her to care for nature and for people. Now, a daily space where her passions and history have a home.

GRVL mode: activated đź‘ź

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Salomon Aero Glide 4 GRVL Demo Night this past Wednesday. Rain or shine, showing up is what this community is all about, keeping the good vibes going no matter what the weather brings.

From pavement to gravel and everything in between, we took the Aero Glide 4 GRVL out for a proper test - proving just how versatile one shoe can be when the route doesn’t follow a script.

Big thank you to for fuelling us with post-run tacos and .normal for keeping us hydrated.

With nail art, good music, and a room full of runners experiencing that post-run high it’s safe to say the night was a success. Plus congrats to everyone who walked away with incredible raffle prizes included one lucky winner who scored a full Salomon GRVL kit from head to toe.
