Story Behind the Stitch 🧵

The jersey is inspired by a graphic interpretation of the Northern Lights, with a simplified pattern that captures the movement and energy of the aurora across the Minnesota sky. Flowing design elements also pay homage to the twin snakes of the club’s crest and the winding Mississippi River that connects Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Together, these design elements represent the connection between two cities, united by one team and one purpose.

Inspired by the spirit of New York City, the jersey weaves together some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and stories. The colours pay tribute to the Statue of Liberty, “Mother of Exiles” - a symbol of hope, opportunity, and new beginnings.

Intricate patterns draw inspiration from Rafael Guastavino’s vaulted ceilings, while subtle details echo the city’s unmistakable manhole covers that line its streets.

Inspired by the strength of the Rocky Mountains and the beauty of Colorado’s landscape, the jersey reflects a team forged by its surroundings. Drawing influence from the native onyx gemstone and the flag of Colorado, the design embodies resilience under pressure, unwavering determination, and a polished finish that stands out on and off the pitch.
