As we are planning our upcoming Summer 2022 Series launch, we are spending countless hours on the tiniest of details. Our team is double checking every seam, every label, every hue to ensure that our brightest ideas are shining through! ✨⁠

Here's a mockup of what our hang tags will look like. This was co-created with the ever amazing Jaclyn Simon Design! This gorgeous hang tag will accompany every purchase so that you're in the know how best to use your August Long wares on your own set of wheels. 🚲

Earth Day is EVERY DAY! Or at least, we believe it should be. ⁠

We know that our daily movements, actions, thoughts and intentions have huge impacts on our beautiful planet. ⁠
⁠
At August Long, our bags are primarily made with Challenge Recycled Bag Cloth (RBC), which was recently developed by a US-based manufacturer. Each yard saves about one pound of carbon emissions compared to standard nylon or polyester bag fabrics. ⁠
⁠
The fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester in a REPREVE® factory overseas. REPREVE® is the leader in recycled fiber and focuses on cleaning our environment and producing the highest quality of recycled textiles.⁠

While this is by no means an end all solution, we are continuing to work on replacing additional components of our bags, like straps and zippers, with recycled or lower impact materials. ⁠
