💐❤️
Every once in a while, my husband is required to head out on a work trip. Today, these beautiful flowers arrived at my door with a simple note:
"Missing you lots! With love, Jim."
And just like that, my heart melted.
In August, we will celebrate almost 16 years together and nearly 14 years of marriage. Like every couple, we've had seasons of growth, challenges, learning, and stretching. What I appreciate most is not perfection—it's a man who keeps showing up. A man who continues to choose us. A man who is willing to step outside his comfort zone, learn, grow, and keep moving forward.
Kindness matters. Thoughtfulness matters. Effort matters.
Today, I am simply grateful. Grateful for a husband with a generous heart. Grateful for the little things that say, "I'm thinking about you." Grateful for the journey we've shared and for the privilege of continuing to grow together.
Life moves quickly, and sometimes it's easy to overlook these moments. Today, I'm choosing to pause and say thank you.
I couldn't be more humbled or grateful for this incredible human being who still chooses me. ❤️

💙 My grandson is a Beaver Scout, and I volunteered before and again nowto sew on his new patches. They thought it would be great if I use my sewing machine, but I said… No, with every stitch I think of you.
He doesn’t quite understand why Grammy gets so excited about a little needle and thread. 😊
What he doesn’t know is that every patch I sew on gives me a chance to sit quietly and think about him. Every stitch is filled with pride, gratitude, and so much love. I think about the adventures he's having, the lessons he's learning, the young man he's becoming, and how blessed I am to be his Grammy.
So no, sweetheart, I'm not excited about sewing patches.
I'm excited because it gives me another opportunity to wrap you in love, one stitch at a time. 💙
He’s was also so excited about grandpa Jim and how grandpa has all of his scout badges from when he was little and a Queens Scout and things that Grandpa can pass on to him.
Grandpa and Malcolm got to go through all of them with daddy and was so excited to see that kind of history and so fun to share together.

🩵 Managing Me™ – From My Heart
One of the greatest signs of emotional maturity is learning how to respond when someone is hurting, struggling, or has made a difficult decision we don't fully understand.
When people step back, establish boundaries, or make a painful choice, our first instinct is often to seek explanations, defend ourselves, gather facts, or prove our point.
Yet wisdom teaches us that understanding is not always the first thing needed.
Sometimes what is needed most is compassion.
Compassion doesn't demand answers.
Compassion doesn't lead with judgment.
Compassion doesn't insist on being right.
Compassion pauses long enough to recognize that difficult decisions are rarely made lightly.
Most people wrestle, pray, grieve, reflect, and struggle long before they take action.
Emotional intelligence asks:
🩵 "How can I support you?"
🩵 "What do you need right now?"
🩵 "How can I honor your decision, even if I don't fully understand it?"
A wise heart understands that people do not always owe us an explanation for their pain or decisions - but clearly when making a difficult decision, humility recognizes it’s big enough to cost them personally.
Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is respect their journey, trust their process, and leave room for healing.
The world doesn't need more people demanding answers.
The world needs more people offering understanding.
🩵 Compassion over control.
🩵 Understanding over assumption.
🩵 Connection over correction.
Because when we lift others up instead of tearing them down from having to make a difficult decision , we all rise together.

Compassion has no borders. ❤️
At Ambassadors of Compassion Canada 🇨🇦, we believe that when we lead with compassion, we create stronger youth, healthier families, and more connected communities.
While Ambassadors of Compassion Canada first launched pilot programs between 2009 and 2015, with outcomes measured by the Resilience Institute of Calgary, we have been incredibly grateful for the support of our dear friend Clark Hunt of the Kansas City Chiefs organization, who has faithfully served on our steering committee for more than 20 years.
Today, across North America—and increasingly around the world—we are witnessing people from every walk of life choosing kindness, empathy, understanding, and service over division.
At our March 12, 2026 Kickoff Event in Anaheim, one of our incredible Ambassadors of Compassion Ambassadors, Noel G, joined us in standing up for a movement that is changing lives. Known for his roles in Fast & Furious and more than 100 film and television productions, Noel continues to use his platform to encourage compassion, hope, and positive impact.
Thank you, Noel G, for leading by example and for reminding us that true strength is found in serving others.
We love you, Noel. Thank you for standing up for compassion. ❤️

Managing Me (c)
🩵 From My Heart 🩵
The harder the impact of another person's choices, the more I find myself wanting to bow my heart.
🩵 I am learning that I do not need to fight back.
🩵 I do not need to defend myself.
🩵 I do not need to explain myself.
🩵 I do not need to convince others of my intentions.
Instead, I can simply accept how people choose to show up and adjust accordingly.
🩵
As someone who genuinely loves people and sincerely wants the best for them, even in difficult circumstances, I have learned that one of my greatest responsibilities is to protect the condition of my own heart.
🩵
Life can wound us.
Disappointment can wound us.
Betrayal, misunderstanding, and hurt can tempt us to become hard.
But hardness only creates more pain.
🩵
I do not want life's difficulties to make me cynical.
I want them to make me wiser.
🩵
I do not want them to make me bitter.
I want them to make me more compassionate.
🩵
I do not want them to make me proud.
I want them to make me more humble.
🩵
Not because I am weak.
But because I know my own imperfections, my own blind spots, and my own need for grace.
🩵
Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is release a situation and allow time, truth, and God to work where our efforts no longer can.
🩵
We may never be fully understood.
Others may not see what we see.
But we can still choose integrity.
🩵 We can still choose compassion.
🩵 We can still choose healthy boundaries.
🩵 And we can still keep our hearts soft.
🩵
That is Managing Me (c)
🩵 Kindness begins with me.
🩵 Humility keeps me teachable.
🩵 Compassion keeps my heart soft.
🩵 Integrity guides my path.
🩵 My heart leads the way.
