We are heartbroken by the events at the Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver.

Many of us are connected to the community and neighbourhood in different ways, and like so many others, we are still processing and reaching out to support one another. There are no easy words for moments like this.

We stand with the Filipino community, with everyone who was there, and with all who are grieving. We honour the lives lost and hold close those who loved them.

Even in the face of tragedy, we believe in the strength of community. Healing happens when we lean on each other, create safe spaces, and continue showing up with care and kindness.

Huge news from Espana. Donya is currently in preseason with Levante UD and has officially signed a professional contract. It takes a village to come together to help dreams come true. A big thanks to Coach Dehara, Coach Rifa Souza, Coach Omari, and Coach Dylan. Most importantly to high light Donya and her discipline, her work ethic and her passion. You have worked so hard to get here and I look forward to watching you blossom on the big stage. ⚽️❤️
