Team Ritchie Curling

Dear Friends and fans.

As we near the end of the season, we wanted to let you know how we did and what Team Ritchie is planning for the upcoming season. Your generous support was greatly appreciated and allowed us to participate at the level we wanted to this past season.
Team Ritchie competed in the BC Men’s curling tour, playing in both the Maple Ridge King Cash and Victoria Island Shootout events. While the results were not what we hoped for at those events, we learned a lot and look forward to playing there again in the future. Team Ritchie also played in the Tunnel Town Men’s spiel and the Vancouver Harvest spiel, where we had respectable result, reaching the semifinals in both events. Our competitive season concluded with the BC Men’s open playdowns, where we were defeated by our club rivals in the C quarter finals with a 2-3 record.
This season marks the end of this version of Team Ritchie, and we want to thank Jon and Kevin for being part of the journey. Good luck to both of them in their curling careers, and a special good luck to Kevin as he works to finish his doctorate! Brian and Trevor are both looking at options for competitive curling next year, and hope to be back on the competitive scene.

Super close game, but couldn’t hold on in the end. Unfortunately, that ends our provincials run until next year!

That makes two! Second win in a row means we play a second game in a row! Next game is noon.

One for the win column! Fantastic game, the win keeps us in the B side of the BC men’s playdowns. Back on the ice tomorrow at 8am.

Tough game, had a couple ends that got away from us. We’re back on the ice against team Silva at 2pm! Lots of time to get healthy lunches and be ready for the next one!

LET’S GO! We’re finally headed to the Curl BC men’s playdowns in Cloverdale. Triple knockout format, but we know our first two game times. Should be online on the curlBC YouTube page. Come check us out!

What a wild game! Game went back and forth until the last couple of ends. Not the result we wanted but a well played game by both teams. Next game Saturday at 1:30, we’re into the elimination games and need some fan support to pull through.

Not the start we were hoping for, but a well played game by team Craig! We’re back on the ice at 2pm, against team Thompson. Stay tuned for details about live stream, possibly still coming
