The Women’s Squash Week events held at VRC united females of all skill level together, with an array of events outlining education, fitness, camaraderie and competition.

This years events included a cups singles tournament, a women’s Southside Harlequin Doubles pro/am tournament, Drills & Zumba, a FND (Friday Night Doubles) knockout for high level players, and an open house event introducing squash to non-members.

Huge thanks to some of our newest ambassadors: Avery, Alejandra, Katherine, Asal, Millie, Hannah and Juana, as well as all the assistance and guidance from Tasha Doucas.

The 3rd annual Southside Harlequins is co-hosted with Vancouver Lawn and Tennis, and is always a lot of work to come together. We wish to thank this years organizers: Marg, Abby, Marilyn, Mary Anne and Jenn.

Wanna celebrate with your VRC friends, we’ll sign up for this special DINGLES event next Saturday October 10th from 2:30-5pm. Cost is $10 which goes to the Squash BC “Grassroots Growth Initiative”.

At VRC, we kick off the squash season with the annual Early Bird. September 16-20, singles and doubles categories available with early bird pricing, so don’t delay signing up.

The 73rd annual general meeting was a success on Wednesday night. The high tech voting process was embraced with the edition of a couple of old school voters, and motions were passed. Yahoo!
I think we have put forth another strong board of directors, and we wish to thank those moving on for their dedication and service.

Offering doubles or singles team league Wednesday nights 6-9pm July 8 to Aug 26.
Note 📝 that the AGM will be on Wednesday July 15th, so league will move to the next day Thursday for that week.
Sign up is on the VRC website under Squash, cost is $40 payable by etransfer to [email protected]
