The 73rd annual general meeting was a success on Wednesday night. The high tech voting process was embraced with the edition of a couple of old school voters, and motions were passed. Yahoo!
I think we have put forth another strong board of directors, and we wish to thank those moving on for their dedication and service.
Huge thanks to all those who were in attendance. Your opinions and support is greatly appreciated.

It’s been super exciting and new having the World Cup fever in our backyard!! And such a pleasure to watch all the matches at a reasonable hour for once?!
Whether your teams are still in the finals or sadly not… the VRC bar will be open for your enjoyment and World Cup spirit!!
Hope to see you there for these epic finals: Saturday July 18 at 2pm and Sunday July 19 at noon.

You’re a keener, hot to the core squash addict! Summer League is for you!!
Offering doubles or singles team league Wednesday nights 6-9pm July 8 to Aug 26.
Note 📝 that the AGM will be on Wednesday July 15th, so league will move to the next day Thursday for that week.

The Summer Drop-in will run until mid-August and is open to all women players in the Metro Vancouver area that are members of Squash BC.

Sign up for each event by the Sunday prior to the event. The schedule for the matches will be sent out by noon on Monday.

The Canadian Badminton Masters took place in Kelowna. So many players made the journey and had a great time and competitive matches. Congrats to all the VRC members who battled it out and brought home some hardware 🏅🥈🥉
