At home πŸ‘HIP THRUSTπŸ‘

It’s pretty hard to load this exercise at home so I came up with a way to make it pretty challenging without any need for weights just a few bands and a couch! I’m using 2 bands here and it’s quite a lot of resistance, pick a band or bands for your individual level πŸ”‘ β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
-Find a couch/chair that is roughly knee level at the top of the hip thrust your shoulders should be level or just under the height of your kneesπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
Place the bottom part of your scapula on the couch and eyes facing forward. Keep your shins vertical and your feet roughly straight, also place a band around your knees if you have one. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
Start in an anterior tilt then thrust up into the band while also spreading the other band apart and go into a posterior tilt at the top tucking your tailbone under while keeping your ribcage pulled down. Squeeze at the top and slowly control on the way down, get connected to the area you’re working! πŸ‘

I had to cut 30seconds out of the original video so hope this covers everything πŸ™πŸΌ

10 years and 50lbs difference 🀭
from working a sh*tty depressing job, busting my ass just to eat/pay rent and support bad habits ➑️ Not ever feeling like I’m β€œworking” because my job is also my passion and love every minute of itπŸ™πŸΌ aesthetics are never the main goal but it’s nice to see some progress πŸ€”

πŸ‘Banded Glute ActivationπŸ‘

Here is a great warm up drill to help improve lumbo pelvic stability and build up a stronger connection to your glutes, also helping to find any asymmetries from left to right side. Remember your glutes are always β€œactive” but some might need to work on motor control to help build up a stronger connection with them πŸ”‘
β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
Start in a hip thrust position with a band around your knees, feet slightly wider than hips and heels close to butt with the feet straight.β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
Next extend 1 knee to line up ankle-knee and don’t let the hip drop or the upper leg raise as you extend, maintain a posterior pelvic tilt and keep the rib cage down. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
Level 1-Place your hands on the ground
Level 2- Place hands on hips, elbow on ground
Level 3- Place hands on chest, elbows off ground β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”-

Here are some πŸ—£CLIENT TESTIMONIALS πŸ—£from a few athletes I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Everything from rehabbing serious injuries to improving performance in Calisthenics, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, Sports Performance or even quality of life, I’ve been training for almost 10 years now and have met a lot of amazing people along the wayπŸ™πŸΌ
β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”-
I would say the biggest reward for me are my rehab clients, that look on their face when the pain is gone or they can move fully again is like nothing else πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ŒπŸΌI’ve been there myself and know what it’s like to be in pain, having it affect your life in such a negative way both physically but also mentally! The main reason I became a trainer/therapist was to help as many people as possible to live pain free and do things they never thought were possible. I got into this profession from dealing with my own issues having a huge passion for learning and growing it got me to where I am today.
I truly love my job❀️
