June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada — a time to recognize, learn about, and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

At BTB, we acknowledge and honor the Indigenous Peoples whose lands we live, work, and play on. We encourage our players, families, and community to take time this month to listen, learn, and celebrate Indigenous voices and stories.

We were honored to have BTB players involved in so many special match-day experiences, including serving as walkout players, flag bearers, ball retrievers, and having Ezibai Ezibai walk out alongside Alphonso Davies as part of the BMO coin toss ceremony.

A huge thank you to Canada Soccer, BMO, City of Edmonton, the players, families, and BTB staff for making this such a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Most importantly, we are thrilled to celebrate a Canadian victory! 🇨🇦👏

The club is on shutdown today to go support the Canada Men’s National team in their World Cup preparation game tonight.

Congratulations to 2009-born BTB player Yara Ghalayeni () on her call-up to the Palestine Women’s National Team for the upcoming training camp and international friendlies taking place in Jordan from June 1–10.

We are incredibly proud of Yara and the dedication, commitment, and hard work she has shown to earn this opportunity to represent Palestine on the international stage. This is a well-deserved achievement and a testament to her continued development both on and off the field.

We wish Yara the very best throughout the camp and friendlies and look forward to following her journey. The entire BTB family will be cheering you on every step of the way.

The BTB 2016 Girls Blue and 2013/14 Girls Pre APDL had lots of fun completing the 1K and 5K runs in support of women’s mental health initiatives organized by Shoppers Drug Mart.

What a great way to bring awareness to such an important cause while promoting teamwork, health, and community involvement. We are proud of all the players, families, and coaches who participated and represented the club so well.

Good luck to BTB 2013 born player Austin Nelson () on his trial this week with New York Red Bulls Academy.

Austin is a talented attacking player who excels technically, tactically, and physically. His ability to impact the game in all phases makes him an exciting young player to watch.

In his first game of the trial, Austin helped the Red Bulls secure a win while contributing with a goal.

Best of luck for the remainder of the trial, Austin. Everyone at BTB is cheering you on and proud to see your hard work creating opportunities at the next level.
