Rise&Shine Basketball Club

have begun training camp. Some of the players took it outdoor last week-end by tackling the Squamish Cheif, the team and couple of the cheerleaders had a great experience. No one drank any beer afterwards so everyone made it back in one piece.

will be wrapping up their summer regular season tomorow at noon. The team had a very eventful season and will be looking for finish off on a high note. The team then will be looking foward to the playoffs next week with the anticipated return of Green.

Forward Luq Manviq will be out for the season and will most likely miss fall and winter aswell. This is a devastated loss to the team as he was the leader in points and rebounds for the team.

Eating my dust

is facing heavy adversity as two of its players are in the hospital..and all of it happening within the last 24 hours...the team will be playing with heavy heart this week-end.

the team started off the summer season with a solid win against the Rebels. The Rebels a bunch of recent grads used their fresh young legs to stay in the game through the 1st quarter but the old men eventually found their legs and won by 25 pts. John Green went for 33pts..the team now look forward to playing one of the better team tomorrow morning @ 10am.
