I am incredibly proud to congratulate my students on their outstanding performance at the BC Snooker Junior OPEN 2024. Margo Lisovenko emerged victorious, claiming the championship title, and Anton Fediushyn also played exceptionally well, securing third place.

A heartfelt thank to David Burney for his stellar organization and ex*****on of this tournament. Events like these are crucial for the growth of snooker in British Columbia and for its promotion among the youth.

Additionally, I am deeply grateful to Jonathan Sun, the owner of TOP 147, for providing the venue and fostering a warm, sporting atmosphere. His contributions are invaluable to our community.

BC Open Championship 2024 took place from March 8th to 10th. A total of 48 players from British Columbia and Alberta participated. Unfortunately, Margo Lisovenko couldn't advance from the group stage as she was knocked out by the future tournament winner, Albert Kenny. Hanna Lisovenko and Anton Fediushyn served as referees, with Hanna officiating the final match. You can catch the highlights on the Snooker Canada YouTube channel 📺
