Oh this simple and quick stew uses just a few ingredients and is full of nutritious goodness. I used swiss chard from my garden but any greens, like spinach or kale for example would be equally delish. No fresh mint? Leave it out or substitute cilantro. No rules, just yum.

MASHED POTATO BOWL with Tahini Roasted Cauliflower & Green Beans
Any reason for mashed potatoes is good enough for me but paired with tasty red lentils, dill and garlic makes them extra yum. Add cauliflower roasted in a tahini-smoked paprika sauce, green beans and pumpkins seeds for a tasty dinner that cooks in 30 minutes.
VEGAN BANANA BREAD
Anything they can make, we can make vegan. This banana bread recipe is one I've been making for as long as I can recall, veganized with flax eggs, non-dairy buttermilk and vegan butter. Classic goodness veganized for modern times. Yum.
ITALIAN CANNELLINI STEW
Simple, quick, nutritious and delicious. This yummy one pot stew is chock full of veggies, greens, beans and vegan sausages. If you dont like vegan sausages, leave them out or add potatoes. I love herbs du provence, but if it isn't something you keep on hand, use Italian seasonings or make your own blend with 1/4 tsp each thyme, savory(or sage/poultry seasoning), oregano, rosemary, marjoram, parsley and an optional 1/8 tsp of fennel and lavender is you have it. No rules, just yum.

Like you all the last two years have been incredibly difficult for World Gym. We have listened, we've adapted and we have continually followed all requirements and mandates set forth by our government. We can honestly say we’ve tried our very best to do what we’ve been asked and what we feel is right. We can only do this with the continued support of you, our members, past, present and future.
In December we, like many other businesses, were given 12 hours notice to change and move our business during the busiest time of our year. A time our industry relies on each and every year. We waited patiently for the promised date of January 18th to come. With this date again being moved we’ve decided we can no longer sit empty and watch dates continually move.
As of January 19th World Gym will be reopening. Our doors will be open and we look forward to welcoming our members back. Our gym is a place built to facilitate health, growth and fitness. If you’re not ready to rejoin us that’s ok. We look forward to welcoming everyone in their own time. This is a choice we’ve made for us and for those of you that need us.
Whenever you choose is the right time to return, please be kind, please be safe and please remember our staff, nor any others make the rules. Direct your voices to those we place in positions of power to effect change. The World keeps evolving and so do we.

One of the reasons I don’t get on with London is everyone is so focussed on work, money and their career that they lose sight on living their life.
They work jobs they don’t have a passion for to earn enough money to buy s**t they don’t need to impress people they don’t like to then snort enough coke at the weekend to feel a high in their life to then spend Sunday in bed and repeat the cycle again Monday.
Someone earning £35k a year in a job they love is truly wealthier than someone earning £100k a year in a job they hate.
Someone earning £35k a year working a handful of hours a day is truly wealthier than someone in the office 12 hours a day earning £100k
Someone who works each day WITH IT NOT FEELING LIKE WORK, is truly wealthier than someone who snoozes their alarm on a Monday.
True Wealth should be about how you feel about your work and your life. Not about who gets more money in the bank come the end of the year.
For my first 2-3 years as a PT, I drove my little VW Polo to work. I saw clients I loved, made 500-750 quid a week doing 20-30 sessions a week, napped during the day and GOT TO WEAR SHORTS TO WORK.
I was truly wealthy years before I ever made decent money, that’s the point I want to make clear.
If you look at the richest people, most of them have a love for their work, not a love for the money.
Success leaves clues, you can’t buy your way out of misery, there are no shops in heaven, never try to be the person to die with the most money.
You won’t realise how short life is until it’s nearly over, do something you love and you never work a day in your life.
No one can really tell you what SUCCESS looks like, because that’s your choice to decide.
If you don’t construct your life, someone will come and construct it for you.
They’ll let you wear jeans to work on a Friday and pay you the LEAST amount of money possible for the MOST amount of your time, energy and effort possible and call it a ‘salary’.
How’s that for an answer? 😅🧘🏼♂️

If you like soup you’re going to love this Super easy roasted vegetable soup recipe 😍🥕🧅👌🏼
Chop up: 2 carrots, 1 leek, 2 red peppers, 2 red onions, 3 whole garlic cloves and throw it all in a roasting tin.
Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper and a sprinkle of smoked paprika. Roast for 25 mins on 200C.
Add a vegetable stock cube to 500ml of boiling water in a blender. Add one tin of chopped tomatoes. Finally add the roasted veg to the blender and whizz it all up for about 3 minutes. Enjoy 😍👌🏽

SWEET POTATO CHIPOTLE CHILI
This is my most favorite chili recipe ever. I first tasted it while on vacation in Costa Rica and was determined to get the recipe. I've made a few alterations to suit my preferences, but it's pretty close to the original. I served it with vegan corn bread.

Vitamin D deficiency is a major epidemic that is off the radar for most doctors and public health officials.
Most doctors think that if you don’t have rickets you don’t have vitamin D deficiency. They couldn’t be more wrong. Most ask what is the minimum dosage to avoid rickets? Answer: 400 international units (IU) a day.
But the real questions to ask are: how much were we designed to have and how much do we need to be healthy? It depends. If you have a deficiency, you might need somewhere between 5,000 to 10,000 IU a day. Others need about 2,000 to 2500. However, It's best to work with a Functional Medicine practitioner to determine how much vitamin D you need.
Amazing things start to happen when my patients’ vitamin D statuses reach optimal levels. Having witnessed these changes, there’s no doubt in my mind: vitamin D is an incredible asset to your health.

Best Healthy Coleslaw Ever (no mayo!)
The perfect diet has one hard rule: Eat real food, not food-like substances.
When I say real food, I mean foods without labels or with ingredients you can recognize and pronounce—fodo that has barely changed from the field to your fork. Think heirloom organic corn on the cob instead of high fructose corn syrup, whole grains instead of whole wheat bread, pasture-raised chicken instead of chicken nuggets.
Did nature make a doughnut? Nope. Did nature make an apple? Yes.

There’s something I admire about owning the mess you’ve made, without guilt, without shame. Because ultimately gluttony is part of good evolutionary genes.
Don’t be a snowflake and think “oh well I’m in worse shape, what does that make me?”
Just get on with it, appreciate where you’re at. Sulking and wallowing in low self esteem doesn’t better the situation.
Taking ownership of where you are right now (in all areas of your life) is the first step before deciding what step you do to better your position.
To me I love this not because it’s BoDy PoSiTiviTy - but because it’s ownership from someone who many admire.
I hope Will does well, I hope a trail of hard working fathers follow suit. It’s been a s**t year behind us, it’s good to see people getting back to it.
There is something today you can do to do better, so do it.
