Dancing in the Street 2019 is thrilled to bring you THREE dates with three different, talented local swing bands for your listening and dancing pleasure this summer! drop-in beginner swing dance lessons at 1:00 pm & 2:30 pm; live music and dancing from 1:30-2:30 & 3-4 pm. Happy holiday Monday, dancers! We love long weekends, because they mean fewer work days until the next weekend--which just *happens* to be a Dancing in the Street weekend!

TODAY IS THE DAY!
Come help us kick off the 2018 season of Dancing in the Street on the Turntable Plaza of the Roundhouse Community Centre! Things get started at 1:00pm with the first FREE drop-in beginner lesson by Rhythm City Productions, followed by an hour of open social dancing to LIVE music by Van Django, then another lesson at 2:30, and another hour of live music!
Don't forget to wear your sunglasses, sturdy shoes, a hat & sunscreen, and bring a reusable water bottle to fill up throughout the afternoon!
