This last season for me has been about learning to let go and surrender to gods plan, not mine. It’s been my way, my plans, and my vision for too long. And although it got me here, it won’t get me ‘there’

I’m still navigating the season and learning to fully trust my gut and intuition… but day by day I feel lighter and free-er than the day before.

I’m sitting on a ferry crossing over from Vancouver to the Island as I type this…

It’s been a crazy, hectic, and interesting last 7 months. From Livin’ in Mexico for 6 months, expanding the business, facing a lot of challenges, and seizing all the opportunities that came with them.

My heart is so full.

I just feel like a big bubble of love.

Can’t really explain it. It’s a feeling, and it’s beautiful.

I think that a lot of people ‘talk’ about gratitude and try to intellectually list out all that they are grateful for.

I used to do that… but it just seemed kinda Blah. Great, sports car this… million dollar business that… motorcycles here… travel there… it’s all just kinda bull$hit at the end of the day.

But that sun hitting your face while staring out over the ocean. Mmmm.

That first sip of coffee in the morning while reading your favourite book. Mmmmm.

That message from a client about their massive win and how something you created helped transform their life. MmmMmmm.

Just being able to take a breathe of fresh air and close your eyes and really FEEL all the power, potential, and genius that you possess. F YES.

That vision and mission that god gave specifically to you… and knowing that you’re chipping away at it daily. Booom.

You win. You boast. You get humbled. You learn. And you move forward with more humility and grace.

GRATEFUL FOR EVERY CHALLENGE that’s I’ve been gifted with… it’s turned me into a wild animal 😅

Anywho. About to get off this boat, jump on the Harley; and Enjoy a 3 days motorcycle adventure over one of my favourite places on earth.

That’s me from back in the fitness coaching days in like 2015 or something… when my biceps were 5x’s bigger (and my beard 10x longer) 😅

What you see there was the start of building the man I wanted to be. I was broke, broken, terrified, and insecure… BUT I was willing to start putting the daily work in and build the person o wanted to be.

I may have been living in a $800 a month basement suite and stressed about paying rent here and there… but I FELT rich.

I may have only had 3 clients and worked 2 part time jobs to make ends meet… but I FELT like a successful entrepreneur.

I may have struggled with confidence and used my muscles to hide my insecurities and pain… but I FELT like a champion.

I may have been building a $47 fitness course that only 2 people ended up buying (and one asked for a refund)… but damn I FELT like I had a million dollar coaching company.

We all start somewhere. And most of us start with limited external resources…

But external resources can easily be found. Borrowed. Partnered up with. Earned. Etc etc.

It’s the inner world we need to work on daily. That thing between the ears and that beating thing in our hearts.

Develop you. Your identity. Your beliefs.

It’s not even about ‘becoming’… it’s more about SELECTING moment to moment how you want to show up and who you want to be.

IN THIS MOMENT… you have a choice.

A CHOICE.

First of all… sending you GOOD VIBES AND HIGH ENERGY today. Take it, I got a lot of it lately. My heart is ridiculously FULL.

Second… I can’t stress enough how PERFECT of a time it is to double down on your work and BUILD things that people want right now.

Most people are doubling down on fear and laying low right now. And I mean, they have good reason too. The news. The gas pumps. The food bills. The wars. The hate. The division.

RECESSION is a hot topic right now.

MARKET CRASH is a popular keyword too.

And to be honest with you, I love it.

- People are waiting to build and holding off until the ‘time is right’ (yay; less competition).

- The fakers and lazy ‘influencers’ are exposed (yay to us who are pursuing mastery and doing the daily work)

The Instagram CEO’s (you know, the ones who started an Instagram Page and call themselves CEOS) are getting a nice big dose of ‘reality’.

- The weak are punished... and I’d say the vast majority of humans have become weak and lazy... and this should wake em up.

RIGHT NOW is the time to build, create, and expand. To make a name for yourself. To launch that new business. To push that exciting project forward. To try new things. To grow. To expand.

Those who do will be rewarded heavily over the next few years.

And I so badly want you to win.

LUCAS! What is it you do exactly? There seems to be so many changes I can’t keep up!

-> IN A NUTSHELL… I build online businesses. Building and creating things on the internet is my passion.

I’ve successfully built multiple businesses of my own over the last 6/7 years… and each one gets bigger and better than the last.

My heart is so full right now that it may burst wide open and I’ll just die right here right now 😅

For real tho… the end of 2021 was an interesting season for me. Although we were seeing ‘success’ by a lot of different markers… sales, revenue, business growth, and travelling through Mexico enjoying beaches and living the digital nomad life…

A higher calling. More impact. More value. More lives touched. More humans helped.

And after a series of VERY difficult decisions… we pulled the trigger and began building a new complimentary part of the business…

And CryptoLabs was born ❤️ In addition to helping freedom seeking entrepreneurs and creators build their online business (freedom from the ‘9-5’ and societies BS rules)… we now have an entire Crypto and DeFi business built that helps those same freedom seeking individuals successfully navigate the crypto, DeFi, and Web 3.0 world… and see financial freedom beyond their wildest dreams. (Yay to opportunity 🚀)

We’ve also invested multiple 6 figures in the crypto space as well… (working on the 7 figgy mark) and I’m stoked to say that the passive income from just our crypto investments pays for most of our expenses (and my new Audi 🥰)

We have a small yet powerful and knowledgeable team, an awesome new podcast, and some really awesome integrations with our ‘online business coaching / consulting’ side of things planned out so the two can work together.

I. Love. Building. Stuff. Creating, engineering, and building things is ingrained in my DNA.

Wether it’s building businesses, offers, coaching programs, or motorcycles… it’s all pretty much the same to me.

1) Getting clear on the vision. What will the business / offer / revenue / bike look like / feel like.

2) Identifying the gap: where am I now, and what’s the gap from here to there.

3) What skills / tools / parts / help will I need to get from here to there. What coaches, mentors, programs, and skills will I need to develop. What parts will I need?

4) Daily steps in the right direction while removing as many distractions as possible. 1% better every single day is my non negotiable rule (for me, the team, and our clients).

5) Testing. Tweaking. Fixing. Modifying. Pivoting. It’s not failure - it’s feedback.

6) Enjoying the new business, revenue / money / bike, machine etc etc for a little while… and then committing to building the next level.

RINSE AND REPEAT.

Forever.

Until I die.

Fall in love with the process and you’ll find that you’re able to literally bend and mold reality to your liking.

I’ve been depressed. Unhappy. Suicidal. Miserable. Broke. Lacked self respect. Hurt others. Impulsive. And acted tough to cover up my weaknesses…

BUT 7 years ago when I began committing to turning my life around… Stoic philosophy has been the foundation of my life.

That’s not to say I’m perfect. I’m far from it. I fall short on the man i want to be OVER AND OVER AND OVER. But every time I deviate from my path, this coin I keep in my pocket guides me back to the path.

A lot of people misunderstand stoicism and think it’s all about being macho and not feeling emotions.

It’s actually quiet the opposite. It’s more about perspective. Choices. Self disciple. Knowing thyself. Self mastery. Doing what’s right instead of what’s easy. Holding yourself accountable. Using logic. Etc etc.

These two quote sum it up nicely:

‘we are more frightened than hurt; and we suffer more in imagination than in reality’ - Seneca.

‘You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think’ - Marcus Aurelius

There is NO WAY I’d be where I am if it wasn’t for the great teachings of Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, and others who paved the path.

If I can dig myself out of a deep and self created hole to living a life where I oftentimes have to PINCH myself to make sure it’s all real… you can to ❤️

Not saying it’s the only way… but if you’re feeling lost, afraid, or directionless (no matter how ‘successful’ you may be)… it may be a good place to start 🙂

I still remember that moment I realized I was less happy making $100,000 a month than I was making $10,000 a month. Ooof.

All that work… for what? The fun and joy got sucked outta me, and my life became a long list of ‘have to do’s’ and ‘important meetings’ I ‘had to’ be on.

Humbling…. Embarrassing…. Like Lucas, you shoulda known better.

Even saying all that feels vulnerable… like ‘yea okay Lucas… that sounds like some first world problems to me’

Yea, maybe. But it’s true.

And it had nothing to do with the money… it had everything To do with freedom of expression and a deep desire to simply speak my truth. With knowing I could give deeper levels of myself to the world… but feeling like it would be ‘off brand’ or whatever other fancy excuses I came up with.

Like… Somewhere along the way we somehow built a fancy looking prison and called it ‘freedom’. Dummies 😅🥂

Wellllll I’m at a point in my life and career where I don’t give a flying F anymore 😅 I’m sharing what I want to share and working with people I want to work with. Period. End of story.

The last few months has been spent rebuilding, restructuring, and reinventing the way we do things.

New Offers are being built, old offers are being upgraded, and entire new businesses are being created ✨

I’m Shooting a video on the changes we made (and still are making), the plan for million dollar months, how we’ll be serving entrepreneurs and online business owners moving forward, and how happiness and fulfillment as a team will be our most tracked metric of ‘success’.
