If you have ever ridden along Ferguson road out to Iona Beach park in Richmond, BC, you know how beautiful it is. But now it just got a whole lot safer ❤️

This has been under construction for what feels like YEARS.

Seriously go checkout Iona Beach Park in Richmond, amazing ride at sunset or sunrise. Ride out to the end of the jetty (some flat gravel) but it’s absolutely worth it for the views.

We’ll start in Patagonia and work our way north from there. Just some bikes, friends and a dream. Bike camping wherever we want, cycling 10 hours a day. Making friends, eating good food. We will all quit our jobs and take 6 months to do it. It’s going to be great trust me. Who needs to shower when you have the same chamois bib shorts you have been wearing for the last 8 weeks? Come on, live a little. This is once in a lifetime opportunity. We are young, we love cycling…what else is there to it? Don’t think. Book the ticket. Our bikes are fine, we will make do. We don’t need to train, that’s what the open road is for. That’s our warm up.

Car centric society sucks. Until 2019 what was the leading cause of child mortality in the United States?
Motor vehicle crashes. What was it surpassed by in 2020? You can go google that.

Did you know that in the 1960’s 40% of children in North America walked or biked to school? Today it’s only 11%. That’s because of a few things, urban sprawl caused by all the room we need for roads and how little we have invested in active transportation. We have allowed the car to go anywhere at the cost of kids going nowhere.

Want to go hang out with friends? You need a car to get there because cars are too dangerous to be around if you aren’t in one.
