So, it’s been a while since I’ve interacted with IG and FB and even longer since I’ve posted. It wasn’t a conscious decision, life just got busy and I find insta, especially, ends up being a time suck. (Apparently it’s not just kids that need protected from the endless scroll feature.)
I thought I’d get back to it and do some promotion and catch up with some of the wonderful and inspirational accounts that I follow. But honestly, after 5 mins of scrolling, I could already feel little thoughts creeping in about not feeling good enough. “OMG, I’m such a failure for not posting regularly.”, “these people are so successful at what they do”, “ugh, i wish I was that strong”, “must be nice for them to afford to spend summer at a lake”. And that was before I even got to the ads that like to tell me about what I can do about my turkey neck 😩
“it’s me, 👋🏻 hi, I’m the problem, it’s me!”
So, I’m not going to promise that I’ll spend more time online or do better at posting. But when I do, I hope that it’s of some value to you, or even just a friendly reminder that I’m here and still teaching classes and will welcome you anytime you choose to interact. Whether joining a class or simply ❤️ing a post. 🙏🏻
Oh, and P.S. the Fall session of classes starts Sep 8 😉
