🏏🦅 Outstanding day for Vancouver Eagles Cricket Club with victories across multiple divisions!

VECC Team 4 Div dominated Delta Patriots I with a commanding 9-wicket victory. The bowlers ripped through the opposition for just 52 runs before chasing the target with ease, finishing at 53/1 in only 8.4 overs. Brilliant bowling by Sajid Wahab and Cheema Nadir with 4 wickets each, while Asad Riaz led the batting with an unbeaten 41 runs. 💪🔥

VECC Team 5 Div continued the winning momentum with a huge 153-run victory over Ind-Can III. Vancouver Eagles III posted a massive total of 246 runs with outstanding batting performances from Imran Khan (43), Ali Sheroz (37), Hussain Dawood (30), Kartik Sheoran (27), and Noman Sadiq (24). The bowlers then completed the job by bowling out the opposition for just 93 runs. Excellent bowling from Ahsan Ali, Hussain Dawood, Saliman Rahmani, and Satinderpal Singh, all taking 2 wickets each. 🏏🔥

VECC Team 9 Div also produced an excellent performance, defeating Delta Patriots II by 5 wickets. After bowling out the opposition for 178 runs, Vancouver Eagles IV chased the target successfully with 180/5 in just 25 overs. Outstanding batting performances from Shujaat Ali (46), Ehsan Shairzai (33*), Muhammad Javed (30), and Dhruv Kumar (22). Brilliant bowling effort by Bhavya Kapoor with 4 wickets and Ehsan Shairzai with 3 wickets helped set up the victory. 💥🦅

What an incredible game of cricket by the VECC Premier boys! 🦅🏏 Yesterday :

VECC Premier defeated Newton Surrey Champions II by 2 wickets in a thrilling contest, chasing 161 runs in 48.5 overs after bowling out the opposition for 160 in just 33.3 overs.
A brilliant all-round team effort led by Taran Gill

who was exceptional with the ball taking 4 wickets, and then finishing the game in style with the winning six a truly well deserved Man of the Match performance from Taranjot singh gill

Great batting contribution from skipper Ali Nasir with a fighting 34, while both the Usmans played crucial innings under pressure. Special mention to Usman Dilshad Warraich for anchoring the chase till the very end. Proud of the boys for showing great character and fighting spirit! 💪🔥

What an incredible game of cricket!
Windies batted first, scoring 197 all out in 43.4 overs. VECC bowled brilliantly, with Rashid Masood Kahlon leading the attack taking 3 wickets in 10 overs for just 24 runs.
In reply, VECC’s openers started strongly. Deepansh Bhuchar played a valiant knock of 44 off 49 balls, while skipper Ali Nasir led from the front with an outstanding innings. He stayed till the end and guided VECC to victory, chasing the target with 204/4, scoring a 101 runs off 102 balls.

What an incredible opening game for VECC premiere against Langley Titans at Brown Park yesterday.

VECC batted first and posted 217 runs in 41.5 overs. Suliman Khan made an outstanding start to the season, scoring a brilliant 109 off 98 balls at a strike rate of 111.2.

In reply, Langley Titans batted exceptionally well and chased down the target in just 33.1 overs, losing 4 wickets.

A great display of batting by Langley Titans, and better luck to VECC in the next game. Once again, a fantastic innings by Suliman Khan.
