Dream Turtle Yoga

is Jasper Sircus, and I've been a yogi, in this lifetime, for about 5 years. Though, I honestly feel that yoga has been a part of me for the entirety of my existence. I was trained to teach yoga by my teachers Shakti Mhi and Pepe Danza, at the amazing Prana Yoga College. There, I learned the true nature and essence of traditional Hatha Yoga, and how to communicate this ancient discipline to the modern world. Since then, I have been developing my own practice and teaching modalities, in order to share this art with all of humanity. My intention is to give back to you what yoga has given to me: the sincere and grounded sublimity of the Union of Self... available to any and all! I teach traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga flows designed to open our bodies, our minds, and our spirits... to bring us back into a state of centered awareness... to heal and realign our lives... and most importantly, to have the amazingly fun and expansive experience of being alive. Offering private yoga, group classes, and by-donation karma yoga. Private Yoga is a one on one (you and I) or one on two (with a friend or partner) practice that will be specifically created for each individuals needs and desires. A continuing and sequenced practice taking place as frequently as the client wishes. This is a beautiful way for beginners to create the foundations of the practice and also, for all levels of yogis to deepen their practice. Group Classes take place in various studios around vancouver, and will be listed in my teaching schedule. These are analogous to the standard yoga class, but will also offer a unique synergy between the physical and energetic aspects of yoga. By-Donation Karma Yoga are classes that i offer in public outside spaces, such as parks and beaches, that will be open to all, regardless of economic restrictions. Students are free to pay whatever they feel is right, even if it's just a smile! A perfect way for anyone to test the yogic waters if they can't afford studio prices... or just have a nice relaxing stretch in the sun! Both the Group Classes and Karma Yoga will be taught with similar styles. The flow will be slow, still, relaxing, and meditative, focusing on breath and awareness, but will also create internal heat and take your bodies to new depths of sensation. All are welcome, regardless of prior yoga experience, as all postures can be modified to fit every body. Just bring your mat, your breath, and your beautiful being.
