Summer Smash Tennis

Big congratulations to Coach Spencer and his sister-in-law, Jaime – aka Coach Marshall’s wife – on winning the 2026 Rackets & Runners Mixed Doubles Championship! 🏆

Over three days and four matches, Spencer and Jaime battled their way to the title, including a close three-set win in the quarterfinals before taking the final in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2.
And Jaime’s journey makes this one extra special. She started with Summer Smash as a Beginner (1.0) in 2021 and is now competing regularly at the 4.0 level in leagues and local tournaments 🚀

Five years. From complete Beginner to 9.0 mixed doubles tournament winner 🥇

This is a great example of what the Summer Smash Progression can do, building players with the skills, confidence and tools to excel on court for life.

Congrats, Spencer & Jaime! And Marshall… we’ll let you take the newlywed assist credit on this one 😉💍🎾

To our Summer Smash community, thank you for another summer we will not forget 🎾

This summer, we helped over 500 beginners of all ages start learning the game of tennis:
🤝 We watched kids build friendships that will carry into the school year
💪 We watched adults find community on the court after a long day of work

But more than anything, it is the little moments that make this all worth it 💫:
