Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed this weekend!

While there were some great performances and well-earned results, what made us most proud was the growth shown by every athlete. We watched our competitors step onto the floor with confidence, composure, and a willingness to challenge themselves—qualities built through consistent hard work and dedication in training.

We were equally proud to see teammates supporting one another throughout the day, demonstrating the respect, sportsmanship, and determination that we strive to develop both on and off the competition floor.

Thank you to all of our athletes for their efforts and for representing our dojang so well. We would also like to thank our families for their continued support and encouragement throughout the season.

We are proud of what was accomplished this weekend and look forward to continuing the journey together.

This past week, our dojang’s own Master Fong and Master Agassi travelled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to represent Team Canada at the 2026 Senior Pan American Poomsae Championships. Competing against some of the top poomsae athletes across the Americas, they delivered an incredible performance and proudly brought home multiple medals for Canada!

Through their dedication, perseverance, and passion for Taekwondo, our masters continue to set an incredible example for all of our students. Their achievements on the international stage reflect the hard work and spirit of excellence they inspire in our dojang every day. We are extremely proud of both Master Fong and Master Agassi for representing Team Canada and our dojang with such distinction!

Jeon Eui Taekwondo is proud to highlight our ongoing collaboration with Saltus Performance in delivering high-performance training for our athletes. For over a year, our athletes have participated in weekly private sessions and monthly group training, focusing on strength, conditioning, and injury prevention at an elite level.

Master Fong and Master Agassi recently brought back medals from Canadian Nationals, as well as the international Canada Open and US Open, celebrating their achievements back at Saltus with the coaching team.

We’re excited to continue expanding these opportunities, with some athletes already joining small-group personal training sessions and more scheduled in the upcoming weeks to further support their growth and performance.
