Our Junior team meet with ISSC for the second time in the championship having previously lost to them to a last minute penalty.

The Junior’s group phase was full of highs and lows narrowly missing out on a few occasions when finally they came together with an outstanding performance against Finnians in the Semi Final to set up their third ever final and first final appearance since 2023. The lads are hoping to win our first ever Junior Championship for the club!

Our Inter team are appearing in our second final in a row this Saturday against St Finnians after both teams having one win each in the two group games played earlier in the summer.

Our squad is made up of players from all over Ireland with all four provinces represented and a total of 17 different counties who have represented us, showing the wide spread of where we are from in our playing and management team.

Meet the Vancouver Eire Og Senior Squad for 2026. ⚫️⚪️

Our Senior team are appearing in our third final this Saturday, our first since 2023 on a day that was successful for us. We have one win and one loss in senior finals as we seek to add to our 2023 title win this Saturday. The game will start at 3:30 at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex, August 23rd.

Our squad is made up of players from all over Ireland with all four provinces represented and a total of 16 different counties who have represented us, showing the wide spread of where we are from in our playing and management team.

Last week we had 3 semi finals for the club!

The Junior Men were up first, and put on an unbelievable display of football! After finishing 4th in the group stage they came up against 1st place finishers Finnians. The lads controlled the game throughout with their ability to keep the points flowing getting them over the line! The lads will now face ISSC in the final this Saturday at 9.30.

Our Junior Ladies were up next. The girls had suffered defeat to Fraser Valley in the group stages so went in as big underdogs. They put it up to Fraser throughout the match, trailing by just 1 point at half time. The girls were solid in defense with great displays from Shauna McGuinness, Áine Fitzgerald and Susan Cahill in the backline. However, Fraser got the better of the girls by a few points in the end. Despite the loss it was a great finish to the season for the girls who came on leaps and bounds from their first match in June.

The Senior Ladies were up last. The ladies also went into their match as underdogs. They fought hard throughout the match with standout performances from Claire Murphy and Bronagh McGrath in midfield. Unfortunately they came up short on the night but will have lots to build towards for next season.

Unfortunately it's the end of the road this season for our Ladies Teams, but we now have all 3 men's teams playing on finals day this Saturday! Make sure to get out to support the lads in Burnaby, from 9.30 onwards!

We have 3 teams through to the Semi Finals this week, with our other 2 teams (Mens Senior and Inter) already straight through to the final 🙌

Make sure to get out to Burnaby to cheer on our teams!

Our last Group stage matches of the Championship took place last week with some great wins for our Senior Ladies and Men's teams!

Our Senior Ladies Team secured their place in the Semi Final this Thursday with a dominant win over Fraser Valley 💪

Our Senior Men were also up against Fraser Valley and got over the line in a very tight game! This means the lads have topped the group and will be straight through to the final on August 23rd 🙌

Our Inter Men's Team also played their final group stage match recently, securing a 6 point win over Fraser Valley which put the lads straight through to the final on August 23rd also 🙌

Our Junior Men have had some unlucky losses recently, but have booked their place in the knockout phase.
While out Junior Ladies have secured their spot next week in the Semi Finals also.
