It is now the turn of the melodic and steady Kizomba. 💃
Kizomba grew out of Semba in Angola in the late 1970s–80s. The word “Kizomba” means “party” in Kimbundu, one of Angola’s national languages. Think of Kizomba as a family tree, not separate dances: Semba → Kizomba → Tarraxinha / Urban Kiz.
DANCE TIP - Focus on:
✔️ Keeping your own rhythm
✔️ Staying grounded
✔️ Controlling your body movement
