Saturday night in Calgary at the Grey Eagle Resort & Casino the inaugural event for Pallas Athena Women's Fighting Championship will go down as competitors from Western Canada, the USA and around the globe will step into the "Palladium" and battle to have their hand raised and continue to propel women's MMA
TWO Championship belts available as well as Canadian Veteran Sarah Kaufman takes on Brazilian Claudia Leite in a bantamweight match in the main event and Andy Nguyen from Jacksonville North Carolina goes head to head with Laura Fontoura from Brazil in a Strawweight tilt for the co-main attraction

2021 marks my 15th year working combat sports and as I look back on some of the great moments and photos from events I've worked and people I've met, I feel so fortunate I can call this work
I miss:
: The great people I work with at Rise FC and the fans that always support their favorite local combatants
: The rush that comes with introducing two warriors and watching the chess match play out in my front row seat.
: The time before and after show when you see the best in people and how hard they're working to bring entertainment value to their product and how badly they want this all to go smoothly
: The stories shared over a cold beer after a hard night of work
One day soon we'll get back to this and when we do the introduction these people will get from me will be one for the ages 😎🎤
One day the fans will fill seats again and the noise and sounds will begin again as will the memories and I can't wait.
