After loooong day of waiting, bussing and more waiting CANADA arrived at the World Nomad Games opening ceremonies! We came in the loud cheers and all the tired melted away. With the Team spanning our amazing country, Nova Scotia to BC and in between we are here to represent our great nation, Strong Free! The Opening Ceremonies was an incredible show, with live horses, remarkable choreography, fireworks and more! Thank you Kyrgyzstan for hosting us!

It’s 0530 and Team Canada, made up of Mas Wrestlers, Foot and Horse Archers is on the bus for a four hour ride to Bishkek for Opening Ceremonies. Hop on youtube to watch! Support the Lykopis Team with a hoody or Bruno mug! GO CANADA!!

From mist, rain, a tiny bit of snow to brilliant sunshine the Lykopis 3D Team would not be stopped at the Canadian Archery Challenge Starting with a good warm up led by Amanda Dumoulin and a hearty breakfast by A. Patricia Gonsalves we headed up Sasquatch Mountain Resort to take on some difficult terrain and looooong distance shots. Arrows were lost, arrows were found and arrows hit their mark, most of all fun was had all around. After a long day of up, down and all around we return to Vancouver, exhausted, happy and ready for the next one
