Remus William Wyse-Morris. Course will be based on condtions. 18-20km for the long. Half that for the short.

Around Bowen Pre Registration The race is scheduled for Saturday July 29, 2023, it circumnavigates scenic Bowen Island in Howe Sound BC. The island is about a 20 min ferry ride from Horseshoe bay. Horseshoe bay is about a 40 min drive from downtown Vancouver. The fee is to be determined based on costs of safety boats, Metro Van....

Only 1 day left to Register for small boats race March 25, come join the fun!
Caotography will be there to take our pictures!
Remember your PFD needs to have 70N of flotation, (waist packs have that rating) and use a leash.
Bring cups and plates if you can to cut down on waste.
There will be snacks, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and there will be Samosas for everyone after the race.
We have stickers from Oddball Workshop for top 3 in every division. As well as bottles of wine for top preformers.
If you want to consume alcohol, it is legal now to drink in Vanier park across the street from the Burrad Compound. (Burrard Civic Marina)
Registration opens at 9:30am, and safety meeting is at 10:30am.

Only a couple of days left to register! We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place stickers for all the divisions, plus bottles of wine for the top overall paddlers! Samoas are on order, we have coffee and tea, snacks and the weather looks awesome. We have 3 safety boats this year as well.

We have a bottle of wine for the overall fastest solo paddler, fastest overall solo female, fastest overall oc1 or v1 paddler and fastest oc1 or v1 female. We will aslo have something for top 3 places in all the divisions.

The race this year is accually #6 of the Winter Series
The location is the FCRCC compound at the Burrard Civic Marina in Vancouver, Canada
On site check in starts at 9:30am
Safety meeting is at 10:30am
Long Course Oc1s and V1s start at 11:01am
All other long course craft start at 11:00am
Short course starts at 11:05am with a mass start
Awards start about 1/2 hour after the last paddler crosses the line
Race Registration will be $20 plus service fees
Also you will need to be a CORA member or purchase the day fee from CORA.
Long course is about 12.6 km
Short course is just under 4 km
Courses subject to change dependent on weather conditions.
You must wear an approved PFD from your country (70N or greater) and you must wear a leash. You must be able to self rescue. Please wear proper clothing for the condtions. Know your limitations.
