The UBR Field Hockey Club and all its members are deeply saddened by the heartbreaking passing of Sumel Singh Sandhu, beloved brother of Aman Singh Sandhu of Village Sarih.

At this difficult time, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Aman Singh Sandhu and the entire Sandhu family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as they face this profound loss.

May Waheguru Ji bless the departed soul with eternal peace and grant the family strength, courage, and comfort during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

United Brothers FHC Mens Team in Competitive Division became Runners Up at Sikh Games Canada 2026 field Hockey Tournament. Team showed high quality performance and Dedication towards the game. Proud of all the Members, Players and Coaches for their sacrifices and efforts towards the Team.

✨Balraj Panesar - Senior Male Athlete of the Year✨

Today we start our weeklong recap of our incredible 2025 FHBC Award recipients.

We ask that you join us in celebrating our first recipient, the Senior Player of the Year, Balraj Panesar. Balraj made his first appearance for Team Canada in 2014 and since has competed in Pan American Games, the Commonwealth Games and the Hockey World Cup. We are proud to highlight and congratulate Balraj on an impressive 109 representative caps for Canada to date. Congratulations Balraj!
