As Gerhard competed extensively at FEI level in Germany, receiving the Goldenes Reitabzeichen (Gold Riding Medal), and trained under many classical masters, this deep experience is what makes him such an extraordinary teacher. His European students won Regional / National German Championships titles and USA students won four Individual Gold medals and numerous Individual Silver/ Bronze medals at NAJYRC.
