Getting my daily dose of Vitamin D.

One of the only ways to get this vitamin, other than a pill, is through the sun. And living in Vancouver we don't see much of it.. So soak it up while you can! ☀️💕

Practice, Practice, Practice!

Fitness is all about repetition. No matter what your goals are and what you want to achieve.. The body learns and adapts to what is repeated.

If you consistently workout and eat right, you will build the body and the immune system required to have a long and healthy life.

Working hard to my first stage! Not letting circumstances stand in my way.

This was taken last week just before deciding to start a mini prep/cut. I have taken the past two months at home as a break from fat loss, lifting heavy to make some gains. I have been eating in a caloric surplus, even putting on five pounds. I have enjoyed eating these extra calories but now will be back on my slight caloric deficit to start a gradual fat loss again.

This break has given me not only a physical break needed to reset my metabolism, but also a mental break from constantly focusing on my diet. I've enjoyed it, but now it's back to focusing on my goal of showing them muscles at a lower body fat percentage. 😊

Dumbbell Chest Press

A great exercise to work the chest muscles. Can be done on a box as seen in the video, or on a bench. Start from a 90 degrees bend in the elbows and push up until your arms are straight, but don't lock out your elbows. Squeeze your chest muscles and lower back into starting position.

Tricep Dip

Great bodyweight exercise for your triceps. Start with your legs at 90 degrees. Make the exercise harder by slowly incrementing your legs further away from your body until they are completely straight.

Back Attack Part 2

Single Arm Dumbell Bent Over Row

Make sure to squeeze the shoulder blade and keep the core engaged.

Keep your spine neutral, chin down and eyes looking down at the floor.

Three Variations:
1 - Hammer Curl
2 - Bicep Curl
3 - Reverse Curl
Performing these types of variations, helps target the muscle from different angles, giving a more defined look.
