Organizers: Juniors to Masters Chess Academy, Vancity Chess, Capilano University.

Venue: CapU Lonsdale, 250-125 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver, BC
Dates: October 12-14, 2024

Play 6 rounds of classical chess over the Thanksgiving long weekend!

Schedule:
Oct 12: Rounds 1 (10 AM) & 2 (3 PM)
Oct 13: Rounds 3 (10 AM) & 4 (3 PM)
Oct 14: Rounds 5 (10 AM) & 6 (3 PM)

Time Control: 90 mins + 30 secs/move increment
Format: Swiss, 6 rounds
Prizes: $1,000 total, including class prizes + $1,000 travel grant for top finisher at Canadian Women’s Championship.

Registration: Closes October 9 at midnight PST.

Calling upon all the chess enthusiasts:
Our BC Chess team will play Washington in the annual match on June 29-30. The match will take place in the Executive Boardroom at the Executive Hotel, 7311 Westminster Hwy in Richmond.

Spectators are welcome!

Just a friendly reminder that the final deadline for the Canada Day Open 1-3 July is noon on Wednesday June 29th.

There will be no on-site registration so please register online:
