Form The first VSB Sustainability Conference (VSBSC) in 2013 succeeded in educating numerous students from 14 VSB schools about sustainability through engaging workshops and inspiring keynote speakers, along with a networking session, a NGO fair, and a school planning session.

Earth Day at Hamber was a HUGE success! Check out the pictures!

Thank you to all who came down to the Cafeteria to contribute to the bottle cap mural for Hamber's new garden and pledging to drink tap water instead of plastic bottled water!

It was also great seeing students wearing green and floral, as well as classrooms that participated in Lights Out Canada (y)

If you haven't done so already, check out the main entrance display case and guess how many plastic bottles are in the case to win awesome prizes.

We'll be announcing the winner of the Water Pledge draw and Bottle Guess next week :)

Tomorrow is Earth Day and Enviro Club has lots in store - including FREE candy and some sweet PRIZES (Cineplex tickets, gift cards, bus fares!)!

-Wear GREEN or FLORAL tomorrow to celebrate Earth Day and our upcoming new Hamber Garden
-Visit the Caf at lunch for free treats + candy by adding your own personalized bottle cap to the Hamber Garden MURAL!
-GUESS the # of bottles in the main entrance display case or PLEDGE to drink tap water instead of bottled water (Caf) for a chance to win a grand prize!

A warm welcome to four newly appointed Department Heads as well as new Club Executive Public Outreach Specialist.
