We are proud to share that one of our well-loved instructors, Nick , created the Indigenous Pilates Project. With the support of Neighborhood Small Grants, IPP is open to anyone Indigenous who feels called to the work.

Nick shared that Indigenous representation is all too rare within the Pilates and Gyrotonic space, and envisioned creating more opportunities for the community.

At Arc Studio, we’re honoured to offer the space as a sanctuary for movement and connection in our beloved Commercial Drive neighbourhood.

On the vision behind Arc’s first retreat: Rhythms of Nature–

Retreats have always been part of the larger picture. Having traveled the world in my 20s, I understand the value and perspective shift of stepping away from daily life. I still want to travel, but now with a different focus. Much like curating an elevated boutique space like Arc, I want to bring that quality and intention to the retreat space.

This first retreat, Rhythms of Nature, is about real, tangible release —no fluff. TRE®, Gyrokinesis® and yoga together offer a rare combination, to calm and strengthen the nervous system and mind. Practical tools for greater adaptability in an ever-changing world.

Bowen Island is the perfect place to hold this first retreat—close by and deeply magical. A place to step away, reconnect and experience something transformative together.
