Let’s be honest
Hiding under the covers and watching YouTube is way more fun than hitting the gym with mirrors to remind you that nothing has changed
Or scrolling through TikTok for inspiration only to realise that 3 hours has gone by and you’re still uninspired and clueless of what content to make.
Now, you’re stressed 😩
And here’s another reason to content create later
because operating on stress is unhealthy, it can lead to overwhelm and burnout
Health is wealth, right?!
True…
But is stress the reason or the excuse? 🤔
(Because we all know content creation is not easy!)
👏 Let’s stop the blame 👏
and take ownership of what’s really happening
No one likes 💩 results
But it isn’t a sign to give up
It’s your sign to try harder or try differently
Ask yourself:
🤓What more or less should I do?
🤓What’s one thing I’m not doing but it’s necessary to get things moving?
🤓Who can I seek for support?
🤓How can I do this differently?
Remember, don’t run
Tackle, confront and challenge what’s not working
The gold you want, it’s there 😉

Trade-offs are simple but not easy to do especially if they are deep rooted habits and part of your lifestyle.
So before you map out your future or your next goal, get clear on what you’re willing to give up.
What must you say no (or yes) to?
EXAMPLE:
👉🏻You want to run the full marathon. You say yes to daily running practices. You say no to junk food and alcohol.
👉🏻You want to leave your job and become a full time YouTuber. You say yes to content creation and no Netflix after work.
👉🏻You want to better manage your weight. You say yes to clean eating and daily movements. You say no to weekend parties and drinks.

I used to ask this question alot, and would always get different answers.
Supporters: go for it, life is too short, follow your passion…
Naysayers: that’s silly, always get yourself a back up job, the economy isn't doing well, don't do it…
While they all have their valid point, something was missing - my pov.
💭what did i think?
💭how did i feel?
💭why do i want to quit?
💭what is holding me back??
I came to the realisation that no one’s opinion was as important and as valid as my own.
Any questions i had was a sign of doubt that i wasn’t ready to move on.
And until the day i stopped asking, that was the day, I was truly ready to leave my job.

Self-help books are a supplement not a magic pill to your problems or to life.
Action is key.
Learn and experience life, by living life.
There’s so much you can read and there’s only so much you can remember.
Unless you act on it, that knowledge doesn’t get stored away.
It gets forgotten.

You don’t have to wake up early to be successful. I don’t believe in that.
I do believe in tenacity, self-discipline and doing the things you’d say you do.
If you wake up at 9am, that’s fine. But do get up when the alarm goes off.
Don’t drag yourself out of bed.
No one successful has ever dragged themself to success.
On the contrary, it was their poor habits that was a drag to their goals and dreams.
Don’t let that happen to you.
