World Cup Micro Footie are the best. Here is the coaches representing micro footie between 9:45 and 10:45 each Saturday. The players are so lucky to have such positive role models. Pure Magic!

As per tradition, the first two players (brothers) arrive for Britannia World Cup Micro Footie 25.

Been ages since we last posted.
We are looking for keen recreation soccer women to take part in World Cup Micro Footie women. The camaraderie is brilliant.
Play for a World Cup country Saturday afternoons at Empire Field. Thursday practices are at Britannia Oval at 7 pm.

Already 80 have signed up. A few places left. Go for goal!

Lovely to be back and welcome players to our 30th year anniversary. Registration begins this week. Many divisions are already sold out, however the more players on the waiting list = the greater the chance of creating new divisions. We want as many players as possible to play World Cup micro footie.

This year, during Spring in East Van, it is going to feel what life would have been like if there was no Micro Footie.

Why?

World Cup Micro Footie 2020 was meant to start today for the 27th year in a row in what for many is an East Van Spring tradition. Almost 1600 players: over 116 teams, including a women and mens div. 200+ volunteer coaches, + over 20 paid part-time staff. A fantastic community event with magic spirit playing the best team sport.

We are going to miss seeing all the players-young and older-kicking the ball around, wearing their World Cup Jerseys, having fun, scoring goals, hanging out in the sun every weekend and weekday night and meeting new friends. Hope everyone stays healthy and we meet again in 2021.
