Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival 2025 ✅😤🏆

After 8 years of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering dedication, Eternal Dragon stands victorious on the Concord Pacific stage for the first time since 2017.

To those who believed in us and inspired us to keep pushing forward, thank you. From our incredible coaches to generations of Eternal Dragon alumni, our success would not be possible without the support from you all.♥️

Eternal Dragon placed 1st🥇in the Junior Mixed Grand Final, and Eternal Griffin placed 4th in the Premier Open B Final. These races are a true testament to the determination and resilience of our paddlers, and we couldn't be more proud of them and their accomplishments.

Massive shoutout to 🥈, 🥉, , Swashbucklers, , and for a great grand final. It's always an honour to race alongside such amazing teams.

Our work is never over. Hamber continues to chase greatness, as many of our paddlers prepare to take on the national and international stages. We'll be ready for the next Concord in 2027. See you there 😤

2025 Vessi 500 Championship ✅🥳

Last weekend, Eternal Dragon and Eternal Griffin competed at the championship. 🔥
Eternal Dragon placed 2nd🥈in the Mixed B Final with a time of 2:00.9, and Eternal Griffin placed 1st in the Mixed J Final as an exhibition team.

Hamber's not done yet. We grow even hungrier as we set our sights on the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival, our most anticipated race of the season. We're ready to show what we've been working on all year. See you in a few weeks at Concord on June 20th-22nd. 🐉

2025 Burnwater Youth Regatta ✅🔥

This past weekend Eternal Dragon participated in our first regatta of the season!
Eternal Dragon placed 1st 🥇 in the Junior Mixed A Final, and Eternal Griffin placed 1st in the Junior Mixed C Final as an exhibition team.

This marks a great start to our race season, and we're only going to train even harder from here. Catch you all next on the water in June. Our work is never over. 😤💪

Today we honour and celebrate our female paddlers, past and present, who have helped shape Eternal Dragon into what it is today. We admire our women who continue to strive for greatness, push past their limits and inspire others to do the same. They are a testament to resilience and hard work, and Eternal Dragon would be nothing without them.

Introducing Eternal Dragon’s 2024 Jersey! 🐉🔥

This years theme represents the Chinese legend of the koi and their journey in overcoming challenges and obstacles as they swim upstream in order to reach the top to ascend and transform into a dragon. In many ways this reflects our journey in paddling, a never ending journey of setting new goals to achieve and putting in the work to get there whether it’s winning the next race or coming together more as a crew there will always be a next goal.

Thus, as cliche as it sounds, it’s important to recognize that achieving or not achieving your goal isn’t what matters in the end. Rather, it’s the time, dedication, and effort that gives the goals their meaning and impact, allowing us to learn from our successes and failures along the way.

With that being said, we’ll catch you all tomorrow for the 2024 Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival!

Vessi Regatta done! ✅🔥

Following the completion of a gruelling week of hellish (fun) workouts last weekend, Eternal Dragon and Eternal Griffin raced in the Mixed Division and Open Cup of the Vessi 500m Championship, placing 3rd 🥉 in C division and 5th respectively!

Only one more race remains for the season, at the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival on June 22nd-23rd. It’s time to grind for these last two weeks and peak just in time for the final race 😤💪

This past weekend, at the 35th Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival, we seized 3rd place in the Oddball Workshop Junior Grand Final. Our paddlers left everything on the water with no regrets, and we are proud of their achievements.

This season was an ode to resilience, hard work, and unwavering dedication. We witnessed the rapid growth of our paddlers and saw how they always strived to do better and push themselves further. Challenges were overcome, unbreakable bonds were forged, and memories were made to last a lifetime.

Congratulations to , , and for an exciting grand final! It was an honour to race against all of you and we meet you on the water again. And, again, to , it was awesome to be able to host you!

As always, thank you to for supporting us with their Oddball Community Grant. In addition, thank you to all of the friends, family, alumni, teacher sponsors, and other teams that came out to cheer us on! We greatly appreciate the support and we hope that we were able to put on a show.

This race was only the beginning of something greater and has fueled the fire within us to compete. We promise to stay hungry and we will only be going up from here. Our work is never over.

Eternal Dragon's 2022-2023 jersey! Unveiled during our annual carboloading, this year's design highlights each paddler's individuality and their importance on the team. The pathways represent that each one of us have embarked upon our own journeys, while the points represent the memories that we have made along the way. The paddle outline on the back of the jersey ties back to this year's dragon boat season. Keep an eye out for these jerseys on the water as we'll be sure to leave no regrets. 💪

This past weekend, a new generation of Eternal Dragon paddlers raced at their first Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival, placing second in the Junior Mixed Grand Final. We congratulate on their first place finish - it was an honour to host and race against them.

Uniquely, this Concord saw a large reunion of Eternal Dragon alumni paddlers, forming two boats - Peaked in High School and Peaked in High School U24. Both teams raced in the Premier Mixed Competitive Minor Final, placing among the top 16 teams at the festival.

As always, a huge thank you must go out to everyone who supports us - from our teacher sponsors to parents to former alumni going back years coming to spectate. Each event is not just a race, but also a reminder of how far we’ve come as a team and how strong our bond is as a family. Thanks to as well for the seamless organization of such a huge festival.

Onwards and upwards. We look forward to building upon the legacy of so many before us and continuing to strive for excellency in our paddling, as well as all else we do as a team. Our work is never over.

This past weekend we raced at the first Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival in over two years, placing first in C final. Thank you to Dragon Boat BC for putting together a fun intro back into dragon boat racing.
