Circle of Future: World Listening Day Soundwalk
Led by Helena Krobath and Milena Droumeva
📅 July 18, 4pm-5:30pm
📍 Meet at the Roundhouse, 1.5km walk (easy), ends near Sunset Beach
In honour of World Listening Day, this soundwalk introduces the fantastical side of everyday life. Join us in discovering strange nooks, perspectives, and rhythms hiding in the ordinary. When media and entertainment show mostly bleak destinies, what futures do we imagine for ourselves? Do we feel hopeful and connected to what happens here? Soundwalking together creates unique space to notice and imagine other worlds, as we play with sensory perception and awareness of the surroundings.

We can't wait!
Vancouver Pride Society is hosting an Accessibility Hub at the Roundhouse. Please contact them ahead of time if you would like to reserve a seat in the viewing area. Go to https://www.vancouverpride.ca/accessibility for more information.
We also are hosting Vancouver Gaymers in our Exhibition Hall along with our Roundhouse Oasis. The Vancouver Park Board’s Q***r Inclusion team will also host a free Pride party for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, featuring fan-making, poster-making, button-making, nail painting, board games, and more. Join them outside the centre to celebrate the parade.
Let’s get one thing straight...we’re not 🌈✨
This Pride, we get UNAPOLOGETICALLY Q***R.
Take up space, celebrate who we are, and stand together in community. Our theme is a bold declaration of visibility, resilience, joy, and belonging. Because fierce really is fierce ✨!
Join us at Vancouver Pride, July 25–August 2, 2026, for a week of connection, community, and q***r joy, culminating in the 48th Annual Vancouver Pride Parade and the return of the Davie Village Pride Festival on August 2. Full schedule of events and programming coming soon.
Be proud. Be Unapologetically Q***r.

Join us for The Kessler Academy String Orchestra 2026 for their annual Summer concert.
Following a week-long mentorship program of intensive rehearsals, emerging string professionals and advanced students take the stage to share great music by Benjamin Britten, Igor Stravinsky, and Alfred Schnittke.
The concert also features Alfred Schnittke’s Piano Concerto, performed by pianist Spartak Margaryan. Praised for his “strongly defined personality” and “exceptional refinement,” Margaryan is widely regarded as one of the most promising pianists of his generation, bringing extraordinary depth and artistry to everything he plays.
Their annual summer concert is your opportunity to be a part of the musical journey of these young artists and immerse yourself in truly inspiring performances.
