Helping kids stay safe is something that is a growing concern for families. It can be difficult to stay up to date on information including on new technology on how to best protect your kids. This course will offer insight and age appropriate information on personal safety as well as the ever changing topics and the potential risks they may face. It will provide proactive strategies to help keep your kids/adolescents safe.

This Personal Protection program is one of the world’s best personal safety and self empowering program with actionable tools you can use immediately. Change your entire presence from “potential target” to “not worth the trouble”. And when you carry yourself with the quiet confidence that only comes from knowing exactly how to handle potential threats…they will more likely walk away. Anyone regardless of age, size or fitness capacity can learn this along with the proper tactical skills to deploy if needed. Reduce your risk of being an easy target. Empowerment comes from education and principles of safety, not choreographed fancy moves.

Avoid, de-escalate and disengaging from a threat are fundamentals of this course. Your body has all the tools you need.

It's back! Magic Everywhere!
A Cabaret-style magic show featuring four of Canada's most talented magicians.
Travis Bernhardt, James Jordan, Lorena Watters and Yuki Ueda, will bring you enchanted performances and truly magical spectacle.

Our host, East Van legend Travis Bernhardt, who comedian Dino Archie once called the "hardest guy to follow in Vancouver," has been touring his award-winning magic shows (as well as multiple award-winning comedy shows) across Canada since 2008. He also consults for movies and TV, most recently Disney's Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.

classical dance forms, bharata natyam and Kathak. Meera Sreenarayanan
(India) performs bharata natyam from the region of Tamil Nadu on
Saturday and Tanveer Alam (Canada) performs Kathak from the region of
Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
