The Nechako Valley Sporting Association offers members a 100/200/300 meter centerfire r***e range, pistol range, sh***un range, & cross country ski trails
Member only facility located on Quail Road in Vanderhoof. Access is from Redmond Pit Rd turning west at Moby Concrete, or by turning onto Highway 27 at the weigh scales and making your first right at the top of the hill onto Quail Rd

Long gong rimfire competition Tuesday July 14th, 6pm @ NVSA . 50 rounds of am******on required . Distance 200-300 meters depending on winds
$5 entry fee, winner gets the pot 💰
8-inch gong = 1 point
6-inch gong = 2 points
4-inch gong = 3 points
THE SETUP
Shooting Position: From the bench using a bipod and bags. (No mechanical rests or sleds allowed.)
Rounds Per Shooter: Each shooter gets 10 rounds per set. (There are 5 sets in a competition)
Time Limit: 3 minutes to complete the round. The clock starts with your first shot.
THE ORDER OF FIRE
Shooters must start by aiming at the 8-inch gong.
If you hit the 8” gong, you score 1 point. You may then either keep shooting at the 8” or advance to the 6” gong.
If you hit the 6” gong, you score 2 points. From there, you may stay on the 6” or move up to the 4”.
If you hit the 4” gong, you score 3 points and can continue to challenge it—or step back down if needed.
Miss Rule: If you miss, you must step back one gong in size.
Wrong Gong Rule: If you fire at the wrong gong, that shot counts as a zero, and you must resume on the correct gong.
