We would like to congratulate our very own Kyoshi Lesley. Achieving the rank of Kyoshi is an extraordinary accomplishment. One that requires decades of discipline, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to the art of Karate. It is a milestone that only a small number of martial artists achieve. Achieving this position as a woman in martial arts is both rare and truly admirable. She has never been one to seek recognition for breaking barriers, instead she lets her consistent dedication and skill speak for themselves.
Kyoshi Lesley is a martial artist in every sense of the word. For her, self defense is not the purpose of training, but rather a natural outcome of a life devoted to the arts. She embodies what Karate is truly about, uplifting others and living a life of honour and respect.
She holds the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt in Karate, is a Black Belt in Ryukyu Kobudo, and is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner. Despite all she has already achieved, she continues to train daily, driven by her love of martial arts and her dedication to giving back to her students.
We are truly grateful and proud to have Kyoshi Lesley leading our dojo. Her example inspires us all.
Congratulations, Kyoshi!
