Player of the game vs Orangeville in GM4 was Tyson who went 1 for 2 with a big triple, a walk, a run, 2 RBIs and threw out a runner trying to steal.

YSBA Eliminations Game 4 vs the Orangeville Bengals.
Both teams entered the game with a loss, meaning the loser would be eliminated.

The Baycats put up 4 runs in the 1st inning to grab the lead and never looked back.

The win moved us to 3-1 in YSBAs, and into the final 3 teams.

Big thank you goes out to this group of coaches, for volunteering countless hours, showing up and teaching the boys to be better baseball players and much more.

1st team through - YSBA Champs and for the second time in the last 3 years.

Player of the game vs Vaughan was Quentin who went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs and made a huge running catch on a line drive that would have driven in a run.

Honourable mentions to Tyson who went 3 for 3.

YSBA Eliminations Game 3 vs the Vaughan Vikings.
Both teams entered the game 2-0 and it was a close game that saw 4 lead changes.

Unfortunately we picked a bad time to give up our first “little league home run” of the season and came out on the wrong end of a 10-8 game.

Only 4 teams remain and we take on the Orangeville Bengals in GM 4 looking to hopefully advance to OBAs!!!!

Player of the game vs Markham was Gavin E.

He started the game on the bump and only gave up 1 earned run in 2+ innings, while going 3 for 3 at the plate, with 2 runs, 3 RBIs, falling just a home run short of the cycle.

That’s a monster game #37 and couldn’t have come at a better time! Stay hot.

YSBA Eliminations Game 2 vs Markham Mariners

This game started on Sunday and was suspended in the 3rd with us leading 4-2. We resumed the game tonight and after a few scoreless innings the bats came to life as we cruised to a 10-4 win.

We move to 2-0 in YSBAs and will face 1st seed Vaughan on Friday in a battle of the only two unbeaten teams remaining.

We are heading to Vaughn tonight to finish game 2 of the YSBA’s against the Markham Mariners.

Top of the 3rd, runner on 1st, 2 out - 4-2 Barrie Baycats.

Player of the game for YSBA game 1 was Gavin B.

Gavin led off 2 innings with a walk and a single, igniting our big 3-run 3rd inning where we tied it and took the lead and never looked back.
