Hayabusakan walks away with 4 Judo Ontario awards this year:
Billy-Jim Carman - Male Veteran of the Year
Margot Chevalier - U21 Female of the Year
John Ormston - President's Award
Masoud Naeimi - Kata Award

Congrats and well done!!!

This past weekend, we had 4 athletes compete at the Canadian National Championships, two of them became national champions:

Billy-Jim Carman, Veterans M5M6 -90kg - national champion
Alexandre Chevalier, U16 -73kg - national champion
Margot Chevalier, Senior -63kg - fifth
Louis Chevalier, Senior -81kg

Alumni (and still a part of our family) also competed:
Jean-Remy Bena, Veterans M1M3 -100kg, silver
Ugo Uzoka, Veterans M3M4 -90kg, bronze

Unfortunately, a number of other fighters were unable to compete due to school or injury. However, we expect to see them all compete next year. We also have a new crop of U16s who will be competing at nationals for the first time next season too!

Congrats to all who competed and special congrats to Billy-Jim and Alex for rising to the top of the country in such spectacular form!
