Meet Miss Shelby! 🤎✨

We are so excited to have Shelby entering her third year teaching with VDA! This year is extra special as she continues to balance the unique role of being both a student and a teacher—learning, growing, and performing herself while also inspiring the next generation of dancers. 🩰

Shelby started dancing at just 4 years old and has never looked back. Her favourite styles include Modern, Contemporary & Jazz, and one of her favourite parts of teaching is seeing her choreography come alive on stage after all the hard work her students put in.

From watching her dancers improve throughout the season to continuing her own journey as a dancer, Shelby truly represents what it means to inspire, teach & believe. 🤍

We are so proud to watch her take on both sides of the studio this season. Here’s to Year Three, Miss Shelby! ✨🫶🏼

Meet Miss Aiyana! 🩰🤍✨

We are so excited to welcome Aiyana back for her second year with VDA!

Aiyana has been dancing since the age of 8 and has trained across Alberta and beyond. She specializes in Ballet, Contemporary & Lyrical, bringing passion, emotion, and a genuine love for dance into every class.

After reconnecting with her love for dance, Aiyana has cherished every moment spent with her dancers. She loves creating a space where they can grow in confidence, express themselves, and continue developing their love for dance. 🤍

For Aiyana, teaching is about more than just the steps—it’s about supporting her dancers, creating memories, and watching them grow both on and off the stage.

We can’t wait to see what Year Two brings for Miss Aiyana and her dancers! 🩰✨

Meet Miss Chloe - Lead Instructor 🤎✨

This season marks Miss Chloe’s 5th year teaching at VDA!

With a love for dance that began at just two years old, Chloe has travelled the globe pursuing her passion — from Las Vegas and New York to Orlando, where she danced in the Disney World Parade. ✈️

Specializing in Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz & Modern, she continues to push her students to be their best while creating a space where they feel supported, confident and excited to dance. Two seasons ago, her dancers even earned 2nd Overall at Nationals in Kelowna! 🏆

Alongside teaching and pursuing her education in Business Marketing, Chloe is passionate about youth mental health and believes the impact of a dance teacher goes far beyond choreography, technique and trophies.

For her, it’s about building confidence, encouraging creativity, leading with kindness and making sure every dancer knows they belong. 🤍

We are so excited for another season of learning, growing, laughing and making memories with Miss Chloe!
