We are so lucky to have such an amazing coaching team guiding our skaters this season. 💙
We are so incredibly grateful to have Chloé Lalonde on the ice with our skaters. She is one of a kind!!
Here’s a chance to get to know her a little better.
✨ Fun fact: I’ve been skating since I was 3 years old — figure skating has shaped me into who I am today. It taught me everything from resilience to the thrill of finally nailing that one jump.
At just 13 and a half, I packed up my dreams and moved to Barrie to live with an amazing billet family so I could take my skating to the next level. I trained at the prestigious Mariposa School of Skating, where my “school” looked a little different than most teenagers’. Instead of hallways and lockers, I spent countless hours on the ice (and off-ice) surrounded by world-class coaches and dancers— including Olympians — who pushed me harder than I ever thought possible. Figure skating wasn’t just an activity; it was my entire world. The sacrifices were real, but the opportunity was priceless, and I’d choose that path all over again in a heartbeat.
✨ Fun fact: Jumps, jumps, and more jumps — flips and lutzs are my favorite jumps. For me- The faster, the better. Oh let’s not forget, the toe rabin death drop fly spin🤤 Basically, if it feels like flying, sign me up. Certified adrenaline j***y right here.
✨ Funniest oops➡️I once performed as a snake in an interpretive program 🐍. Mid-bracket turn, I wiped out… but instead of eating the ice, I improvised a worm/snake move and locked eyes with the judge like, “yeah, this is part of the act.” She bought it. 10/10 commitment.
✨ Fun fact: Always skate with no socks. It’s my way of feeling grounded… even if my boots (and feet) smell like a science experiment afterward. 😂
✨ Fun fact: I was in a Hallmark movie (Love on Ice) — you’ll see me on screen for a whopping 6 seconds after 16+ hours of skating the same scene. Totally worth it.
Thank you Chloe !!!We’re so grateful for your energy, experience, and dedication to our skaters!
