We are once again giving local businesses the opportunity to promote on our scorecards - with 30,000 scorecards being printed (roughly three seasons).

A big congratulations to 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 from Halifax, who picked up his 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐎𝐍𝐄 yesterday at Avondale!

Gary got it done on Hole #4 with a 6-iron while playing alongside Paul Emmons and Avondale member 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐫.

And here's a fun little connection - Evan knows a thing or two about aces himself. He recorded Avondale's 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 last year on Hole 15!

🌧 Due to the weather forecast, the event organizers have made the decision to reschedule this Sunday’s Marty Koughan Memorial to 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡.

Same time. Same format. Same details. Just moved back a few weeks.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone out on September 11th for a great day of golf in support of the CMHA PEI.

While Marty was certainly no stranger to playing great golf in all kinds of weather, we’d prefer to hold this special fundraiser on a day with a better outlook - fingers crossed!

We’re currently contacting all registered teams with the new date. We do ask all teams that registered for Sunday to Re-Register to ensure we do not miss you.

We hope that this new date may bring even more teams to support this great cause.

We’re pleased to be hosting the 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 today, and it’s great to see such a big turn out on another beautiful day for golf.

The day includes golf, dinner, prizes, games and plenty of memories - all in honour of Ross. Most importantly, funds raised today support the Ross Young Memorial Football Coaching Endowment at Mount Allison University.

A pretty special afternoon yesterday for our member 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐲, who aced our 4th hole!

Jordan hit a 9-iron from 144 yards for his third career hole-in-one - and his second here at Avondale.

He was playing with his father, Brian Duffy, along with John Castiday and Darcy Murnaghan.

Congratulations, Jordan!
