Everybody kept asking me… Where are you guys going to go if you leave downtown?

I guess we’ll never know!

We’re coming up on our 10-year anniversary here at 631 Yates this April, and I’m happy to announce that our landlord and I have reached an agreement that will keep Giant Victoria right here in downtown Victoria for the next 10 years.

We’re not going anywhere.

I remember the downtown Victoria I fell in love with nearly 10 years ago, and I believe we can get it back. Downtown has faced its share of challenges, but this is our home, and I refuse to let Giant Victoria become another statistic of a business leaving the downtown core.

We have currently 1 position available at the shop for the perfect candidate!

We are seeking a passionate, experienced individual to work as a full-time salesperson in our dialed shop. Specifically, we are looking for an individual with lots of experience in the cycling industry, and comfortable working in a busy fast-paced work environment. Compensation is based on experience ($20-$25/hour to start), a fun work environment with young ownership, and staff. Health benefits such as prescription drugs, medical, dental, massage, and physio coverage for all full-time staff. Also, new for 2026, you will have access to a family doctor from our private healthcare provider.

Sales Position Requirements:
- Able to work Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm
- MUST have experience and have good general knowledge of bikes
- Past bike shop employment is a huge asset
- Fun, easy-going, approachable, punctual, good work ethic, and MUST be a team player!
- Lightspeed POS system experience is an asset (not a must)
- Reliable and presentable!
