Come out Monday’s at 7:30 and Thursday’s at 7:00 to Speed Mechanics! Wrestling for beginners or advanced! Now is the time to learn, develop, and perfect your technique! (Wrestling tournament season begins November 2026!)

Excited to see what the future has in store for the newest member of the Montreal Wrestling Club. got a late start to the mat but in two short years has made incredible progress. We look forward to cheering him on as he continues is journey!

Aaron is one of a kind. He’s one of the few who has endured & persevered through 4 years of wrestling under Coach Steve, Coach Sarah, & Coach Mike. Wrestling is a grind! “Many refer to this as embracing the grind. Knowing that everything you’re about to do is going to suck, a lot.... and then still doing it anyway. Because you know that if you want to be the best, this is what you have to do. This mentality isn’t just what separates the best from the average, it’s what separates Wrestlers from everyone else.” - Dan Gable said “Once you’ve wrestled, everything else in life is easy.” -

The last 4 years Aaron has showed up to practice, put in the hard work,worked through injury and sickness, wins and losses, and the mental gymnastics he and all wrestlers put themselves through. We’re so proud of Aaron and who he has become as an athlete and as a young man.
Well done getting 5th at the BC provincials this year! It was a tough weight class. We look forward to seeing what will come with Nationals this week in Calgary and in the rest of your future!

Pouya- 1 year into wrestling and made his way to the BC Provincials with technique, perseverance, and skill. He’s determined to get a medal next year! Never satisfied, always hungry. We love watching him grow in this sport! 💪🏼

Dan showed UP and put gears into motion at Provincials this year! He’s a scrapper! He wrestled hard & he put up a fight for that bronze. It’s been an exciting year watching him grow as a wrestler and a young man 💪🏼 👏🏼

👏🏼 congrats to Dan getting that Bronze 🥉 at 63kg and Aaron getting 5th @ 74kg at the BC provincials this last weekend! 👏🏼. Aaron was also awarded the Bobbie McKenzie memorial heart and hustle bursary! Proud of you guys!
