Spring is here and looking forward to 2024.
Hope to see many of you out there tipping a gold pan

Always so uplifting to stand by a River, and find Gold in the Pan

Heading to Mt.Slicker this week to have a look at the old mine and its remnants!

You bet the itch to get back out for the search is pretty strong.

So are any of you going to dip a pan or learn more about gold panning or working a placer claim this year?

Well things are changing and soon prospecting and mining for gold will all be in the hands of Corporations.
So if you're planning to apply your hand at gold panning or placer mining, I sure would not be waiting too long

Mining industry watcher says environmental, Indigenous commitments must guide B.C.'s minerals strategy Nikki Skuce, co-chair of the B.C. Mining Law Reform Network, says critical mineral mining will be part of the province's future, but it must abide by UNDRIP and environmental goals including CleanBC.

Lytton was Interesting as were Bridge River, and Wells but snow going to fly time to play in closer to Sooke and do some picker hunting.
